Needs

Coop Norge aimed to deliver personalized communication and targeted promotions by leveraging insights into Norway's population. This required restructuring their SAP architecture (Commerce, Marketing, CAR with PMR) on Azure, integrating with Dunnhumby, and utilizing machine learning for promotion algorithms.

Solution

A new Target Operating Model (TOM) was defined for Coop Omnichannel.

  • Data Solution: SAP Marketing on Azure, loaded with 350M historical data records and 2.6M households. PIM data including Article Hierarchy and Merchandise Category. Dunnhumby for BI and yCOM B2C platform for non-food/DIY sectors (stock inventory, SAP Billing). Google Cloud for Analytics and Big Data.

  • Integration Solution: Restructured target architecture: SAP Commerce, SAP Marketing, SAP Gigya, SAP CRM, SAP Retail, SAP CAR, AMR with PMR (Promotion), connected via Biztalk and SAP CPI to Dunnhumby.

  • Data Science Solution: Developed proficiency in SAP Marketing and SAP Analytics, leveraging Google Cloud ML. Created Python programs using machine learning algorithms and Deep Neural Networks (TensorFlow) with BigQuery ML to generate advanced SEO search terms. Deployed Azure Machine Learning algorithms for promotions.
